Delivery, Pick Ups & Shipping

DELIVERIES

We will be continuing with our deliver option within the delivery area (see map below) for all orders of $50 or more. 

Orders will be delivered on Saturdays, and therefore, all orders must be placed by Saturday morning at 9:00am in order to be eligible for delivery. 

We appreciate that you opt for delivery only if it is absolutely required. We prefer you to select one of our pick up options below.  

For FREE delivery within our delivery area (see below) orders must be a minimum of $50.00

You do not need to be home for your delivery, though that is ideal. If you are not home, we will leave your order at your door. If you have opted out of a bag, we ask that you leave something at your door for us to place your order in (bag, container, bin etc.) 

We also ask that you keep in mind the weather. Your order will be delivered in a paper bag. If you do not have a covered porch, or have ordered products that may be sensitive to temperature, you may need to leave out a cooler or container that will protect your order from the elements (rain, snow, cold, extreme heat etc.)

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items, or damage caused from items being left outside for an extended period of time. If you are concerned about your delivery, please contact us and we can discuss other options (dropping it with a neighbour, leaving us a key or allowing us to put items in the garage etc.)

If you are outside of our delivery area, you can pick up from one of our pick up locations, or email us at thesimpleconceptshop@gmail.com so we can help find an option for you. 

If you are within our delivery area and order under $50 you can either pick up or pay a flat shipping fee to have your products delivered (please email us at thesimpleconceptshop@gmail.com to determine what that flat fee will be)  

PICK UPs

You can place an order for pick up online. We will send you an email once your order is ready for pick up. Orders are fulfilled on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which means that your order will most likely be ready for pick up the following day at the location of your choice.

In order to pick up your items, you must adhere to the schedule of the store location. Please do not arrive at the store location until you have received confirmation that your order is ready for pick up. 

Our current pick up locations are:

1. PU in Bowmanville @ Markets by Dream Day - 62 King St West (we have a 10ft shop space in this location that you can shop as well)

2. PU in Brooklin @ Markets by Dream Day - 66 Baldwin St (we have a 3ft shop space in this location that you can shop as well)

3. PU in Whitby @ The Maker's Hub - 1380 Hopkins St Unit #5

4. PU in Pickering @ My Home - Redbird Crescent

Pick up orders must be a minimum of $20 and there is a small fee of $0.50 (this simply helps to cover our costs, as each location charges us between $1-2 per pick up).

 

SHIPPING

Yes, we have started to ship! 

We fulfill orders on Wednesday and Saturdays. We will therefore, package your order and ship it the same day we fulfill it. Once in transit it will take 1-5business days to arrive to you, depending on where you are located and the current delays that occur with Canada Post due to COVID.

We ship only within Canada. 

Shipping rates at determined at checkout and are at the expense of the customer. Unfortunately, we are not big enough right now to be able to offer free shipping and incur that charge ourselves.
